Version 0.0.0.5 - .Net 2.0 RTM

Source (71 kb)
App (69kb)

I received permission from a GPL style license to an MIT style license ... from the MIT peeps.

Changes:
Primarly bug fixes.
There is DirectSound code in there but it is commented out so people could run it without a .net version of DirectX installed. I did however f-up the area where the code for the direct sound was in the winform. I deleted it on accident then closed out of VS and since I don't have source control on my local applications .... This is my fault, I'll recover it at some point.

The "super secret project" is almost done. Having a few people check it over before I submit it since I'm illiterate.

As for project 2.0, I'm seriously liking the idea of the automated bartender with a touch screen. I was talking with my friend Brendan and he was dropping some really cool ideas. I'm going to 'rap' some more on Monday when I'm on the southside roasting buffalo burgers to prove how much more American I am than everyone else.

Ok, dance floor is pretty much done, super secret project is almost done (upto 15ish pages), I'm thinking I need an automated drink maker.

Not sure if a pressure system is the way to go or a pump based system. Pressure is easier but needs a tank. Pump is cool too.

I'm looking at the Make Controller board since it can be controlled via Ethernet or USB. Bit overkill but I'm thinking it would be cool. One issue I see is only 8 outputs. screw inputs, I want outputs. What about mixers though, I need more. Another board maybe? Maybe I make a custom board and do it via USB.

I can use my old dell laptop who's keyboard kind of died a bit ago to get it up and working.

8 drinks, need to talk to my friend Elysia on these choices (she's a bartender)

  1. Vodka
  2. Rum
  3. Gin
  4. Wiskey
  5. Baleys
  6. Triple sec
  7. Tequila
  8. Vermouth

8 Mixers, carbonation may cause some issues.

  1. Tonic * carbonated
  2. 7-up * carbonated
  3. Coke * carbonated
  4. Grenadine
  5. Orange Juice
  6. Cranberry Juice
  7. Sour mix
  8. ???

I've got about half of it done, still need to take some screen shots. Super busy at work (which is winding down) and the what not plus mother's day. Figure I should be able to do a lot of it on a train to and from my parent's house.

Figure I'll also release the .5 release of the software with the Direct Sound part

stripped commented out.

So I got a Monome 40h and it is pretty slick looking.

I think I got it set up properly ... however ... I feel kinda like a retard using Max/MSP.

I know roughly what is wrong and what I need to fix, I just don't know how to. My monome mounts on COM5 but their patches are COM1 and 2 and I'm not really sure how I resolve this.

There is another section I need to tweak also but once again, I'm not sure how I go about changing it.
Update
Got it working after messing with my local comport settings and asking how to enter the edit mode.

Monome

SO ... yeah ... I was on the front page of Digg I guess and my server had the /. effect I guess. so yeah, my provider pulled the site since they thought it was getting a denial of service attack.

Thanks everyone for the google cache links and the dugg mirror.
