Here is part of my frame for my skateboard. More will be done / built this weekend. I'll film / do photos of building it. In addition, I'll interview my dad on why the frame is built / designed like it is.
# re: Excel 2007, best hidden feature ever You're serious? This is the "best hidden feature ever" in Excel 2007, meriting redirection from the MSDN Flash newsletter?!It's reasonably useful, yes. But it doesn't remove the need to include an average & sum cell in your report if you want both, previous versions of Excel allowed you to toggle between sum, average, count etc on the bottom bar, and......but mostly, it's not hidden! It's ON THE SCREEN!
# best hidden Excel 2007 feature ever ??? best featue??? Are u kidding???
# re: Excel 2007, best hidden feature ever @Kevin: just because it is there doesn't mean everyone notices it. Everyone that I've talked to about this feature didn't know it existed. And I actually verified it was there from atleast Office 2000.For me at least, 90% of the time I just need a quick sum or average, I don't need a full blown result.@Eli: There is some sarcasm in the post’s title. There are far better features in Excel, I just don’t know of them.
# re: Excel 2007, best hidden feature ever Really I was hoping for a "replace / supplement the ribbon with the old style menu" hidden feature. Any chance that one is hiding somewhere?
# re: Excel 2007, best hidden feature ever Ahora si me quieren ver la cara de What?.... Is this a JOKE....? Am I at candid camera? Best hidden feature? This is like a blooper or something... and from MSDN flash.... c'mon guys!!!
# re: Excel 2007, best hidden feature ever Hey, I didn't do the news letter, I just saw a feature I hadn't noticed before and thought it was cool and put it on my blog.I was being, you know, sarcastic about it being the best hidden feature in Excel. That is hands down the video game that was in Excel 2000 I believe.
# re: Excel 2007, best hidden feature ever Why does everyone have to be so SARCASTIC these days? Is every body on the internet a jerk? Sure looks like it from these posts.
# re: Excel 2007, best hidden feature ever If I wanted to be a jerk, I'd point out it is "everybody" not "every body", but I'm not.To me, this feature makes my life easier and to be frank, I use Excel about twice a month. This feature saves me a few minutes of extra work and prevents me from deleting something I may not want to due to a summation calculation.
